About X:II:IX
Ten2Nine's highly anticipated CD, self-titled (except using roman numerals) X:II:IX, contains ten fantastic new songs including the local radio hits Smoke In The Light and Don't Want That Anymore. Recorded at Tree Fort Music, this wonderful recording shows the strong song-writing and performances from one of Canada's premiere rock bands. Ten2Nine's sound on this record blends retro stylings with new-school sensibilities with a level of authenticity seldom heard on current CDs.

Two of the songs from X-II-IX, Don't Want That Anymore and Blue Again, were produced by P.M.I.A. Producer of the Year Award winner Dale Penner. Dale's credits include the 3 time Juno nominated CD Stuff by Holly McNarland (certified Platinum in Canada) as well as Nickelback's Juno award winning The State which includes top 10 Singles Leader of Men and Breathe (certified gold in the US and Canada), Econoline Crush, The Matthew Good Band and now Ten2Nine!

The other eight songs on this record were produced by long time collaborator Jim LeGuilloux, who of course was the producer behind Ten2Nine's Scorpion Song Of The Year winning Smoke In The Light. Jim's influence and visions are well reflected in the Ten2Nine sound on this album. His ability to bring out the very best in the songs and musicians was the conduit that resulted in what you'll hear on this recording.
